EAGLES NEST LOUNGE & BILLIARDS
Our lounge was opened sometime around 2012 with 8 seats and 2 tables. We conducted a contest “Name the Bar” contest. The winning entry was “Eagles Nest” in honor of the mascot from Parksley High School which was built in the 1930’s, became a middle school in 1978, was closed in 2005, and demolished in 2007. It seems most of our patrons were alumni of Parksley High.
From those meager beginnings we have grown into a full-service bar with room for 40 or more. We have 3 TV screens, a “Touch Tunes” juke box with the best sound on the shore, 4 electronic dart boards, and 5 pool tables including a 9 footer that was played at the U.S. Open. If you’re a Pool or Dart shark you can probably some worthy competition at the Eagles Nest. It’s the place where all the locals hang out and everyone truly knows your name.
We hope you’ll stop by for a beer or a cocktail and enjoy some Eastern Shore Hospitality.
